Shopify App: GDPR Compliance
To ensure that you are GDPR compliant while using Relewise, the app integrates with cookie consent providers.
By default, the app can track consented user IDs from the Shopify Customer Privacy API using window.Shopify.customerPrivacy.consentId(). Choose this option when you rely on Shopify's built-in cookie banner or when your consent platform already syncs consent with the Shopify Customer Privacy API.
If you prefer a direct integration with a cookie provider, the app can track the user IDs generated by your chosen cookie consent provider:
Under App Embeds -> Relewise UI Components, select the cookie consent provider you are using, and hit Save in the top right corner of the screen.
