Ask AI
Ask AI is the assistant built into My Relewise. It helps you understand Relewise, use the current page, interpret Dataset information, and find relevant documentation without leaving the portal.
You can open Ask AI from the top navigation in My Relewise. When opened, it appears as a sidebar that stays available while you move around the portal.
What Ask AI Can Help With
Ask AI can answer questions about Relewise and My Relewise, including:
- How to use the current page or feature
- Analytics, Search, Recommendations, Merchandising, Entities, Integrations, Marketing Automation, Retail Media, and other Relewise areas
- Dataset-specific questions when the needed information is available in My Relewise
- Configuration and troubleshooting guidance
- Relewise concepts and documentation
Ask AI is not a general-purpose assistant. It is intended for questions related to Relewise, My Relewise, Relewise APIs, Relewise documentation, and the current portal context.
Current Context
Ask AI uses the active My Relewise context to make answers more relevant. This can include:
- The selected Dataset
- The selected language and currency
- The selected date period
- The formatting culture used for dates and numbers
- The page you are currently viewing
- The current entity, rule, job, app, or configuration item when one is available
For example, if you ask a question from a Search Administration page, Ask AI can use that page as context. If you ask a time-based analytics question without specifying a date range, Ask AI can use the selected date period from the portal.
Conversations
Ask AI conversations are saved per user and Dataset. You can reopen previous conversations from the conversation selector at the top of the Ask AI sidebar.
From the conversations view, you can:
- Open a previous conversation
- Rename a conversation
- Delete a conversation
- Start a new conversation
Changing Dataset starts a new Ask AI context, so conversations and answers stay tied to the Dataset they were created for.
Verify important information
AI responses can include mistakes. Always verify important information before using it to make business, configuration, or implementation decisions.
What Ask AI Cannot Do
Ask AI can explain, guide, troubleshoot, and help you understand what is shown in My Relewise.
Ask AI cannot make changes to your Dataset or portal configuration. It cannot create, update, approve, delete, or publish rules, entities, campaigns, integrations, settings, users, or other Dataset data.
If a change is needed, Ask AI can describe the steps you can take in My Relewise and suggest what to verify before making the change.
When to Contact Support
Contact Relewise support if:
- Ask AI cannot verify the answer from the available context
- You need confirmation about behavior specific to your Dataset
- You have feedback, issues, or questions about Ask AI
- You need help with billing, incidents, uptime, access issues, or changes that require Relewise support
