Shopify App: Behavioral Tracking

Activating the UI Components will automatically activate Behavioral Tracking for your website. Tracking is the heart and soul of Relewise personalization, and ensures that your users experience the best and most relevant search and recommendation results while using your website.

Tracking events

The following tracking events are automatically included when installing the app:

• Product views
• Content views
• Products in cart
• Product category (collection) views
• Email newsletter clicks, see Collect Email Newsletter User IDs

User IDs

The tracked user ID can be one of:

• A temporary user, provided by your consent provider
• An authenticated ID, using the Shopify Customer object {{ customer.id }}, when the option is enabled (default)
• An anonymous user, if the user hasn't consented to marketing, and isn't logged in
