Quality Score Thresholds for Retail Media

Quality Score Thresholds enable you to define a score that determines the relevance of a search term to a product. This score directly influences whether a product is eligible for a sponsored placement.

Understanding Quality Score

The Quality Score is a value between 0 and 100:

  • A score of 100 signifies an exact match between the search term and the product.
  • A score of 0 indicates that any match, regardless of its quality or relevance, will be considered.

This threshold helps you fine-tune the precision of product matching for your retail media campaigns.

Setting Quality Score Thresholds

Quality Score Thresholds can be configured at multiple levels within your Relewise setup, providing granular control over your retail media campaigns. You can adjust these settings directly within the Relewise administration interface.

  • Global Level: Sets a default threshold that applies across all your retail media activities. This is typically found in your main Retail Media settings.

  • Placement Level: Defines a specific threshold for individual placements, overriding the global setting.

  • Advertiser Level: Applies a threshold to all campaigns and promotions associated with a particular advertiser, overriding placement and global settings.

  • Campaign Promotion Level: This is the highest level of control, allowing you to set a unique threshold for a specific campaign promotion. This setting overrides all other levels and is configured directly within the promotion's settings.

The hierarchy for overriding settings is as follows: Campaign Promotion > Advertiser > Placement > Global

This ensures that the most specific setting always takes precedence.
