User Conditions

Relewise offers a number of options for configuring which users receive results when triggers activate. Among other things, these User Conditions allow you to configure your triggers in order of importante, to ensure that a user is not flooded with emails all at once. User conditions also allow you to target specific segments or a certain kind of behavior.

The list below outlines the various User Conditions available for use in Relewise. While mostly relevant to configuring Triggers, they may also serve a purpose for Merchandising. We encourage you to reach out to us if you have further questions regarding the use of User Conditions.

Has Authenticated Id Condition

This condition states that the user must have an Authenticated Id, i.e., we have recognized them as a user that is logged in.

Has Email Condition

This condition states that the user must have an email attached to the User Entity, i.e. they have an associated email. This is mostly relevant for email marketing, where you wish to use the trigger to send an email when something happens.

Has Identifier Condition

This condition states that the user must have a specific identifier key attached to the User Entity. This can be useful in scenarios where you recognize your users with different identifiers across multiple platforms, and you want to target users that have been using one specific identifier.

Has Classification Condition

This condition states that the user must have some specific value for a certain classification key. This could, e.g., be used for scoping a trigger to only give results for users within a specific country or business segment.

Has Activity Condition

This condition states that the user must have had activity on the site within a specific number of minutes before the trigger activates. This can further be configured to specify that the user must have been active for a specific number of seconds within that period. E.g., user must have been active for at least 60 seconds within the last 2880 minutes (2 days)

Furthermore, the trigger can be negated to mean that the user should not have had any activity within the specified period. Negating this condition is useful to ensure that the user has not been active recently when a trigger is set to activate.

Has Line Items In Cart Condition

This condition states that the user must have a certain number of items in their cart. The number of items is defined by a range that can have a set upper or lower value, e.g., User must have between 1 and 5 products in the cart, or, User must have 1 or more products in the cart.

It is also possible to filter the items that are counted using a generic collection of filters, e.g., if you want there to be a specific number of on-sale products in the cart.

Has Modified Cart Condition

This condition states that the user must have modified their cart within a certain number of minutes before the trigger activates. Modifying a cart entails the user either placing something in or removing something from the cart.

Has Placed Order Condition

This condition states that the user must have placed an order within a certain number of minutes before the trigger activates. This can also be negated to ensure that the user has not placed an order for a specified period of time. Negating this condition is useful for, e.g., ensuring that you don’t try to over-engage with a happy customer.

Has Recently Received Same Trigger Condition

This condition states that the user must have received this trigger already within a certain number of minutes. This is almost exclusively used in its negated form, to ensure that a user cannot receive the same trigger too often.

Has Recently Received Trigger Condition

This condition states that the user must have received some specific trigger within a certain number of minutes. Which trigger it is can be defined in multiple ways: You can specify it by a specific trigger Id, by a specific trigger group, or by a specific trigger type.

This condition can be negated to ensure that some other specific trigger has not been activated within a specific period of time.

And Condition

This condition states that multiple child conditions must be upheld.

Or Condition

This condition states that at least on of multiple child conditions must be upheld.
