Highlights of the Month

Shopify App

Shopify App enhancements add User Engagement actions for favorites and sentiment, switch default shopper IDs to the Customer Privacy API, add Newsletter ID Capture, add optional Customer ID tracking, and upgrade to the latest App Framework.

API

Fixed

• Fixed a bug where DataFilter.ObjectPath was not mapped from server to client.
• Fixed an issue where ProductAdministrativeAction would skip evaluating Variants if the ProductUpdateKind already matches the Product's enabled/disabled status.
• Merchandising: Fixed a bug in merchandising search term filters that could cause rules not to be applied.

• Search Live View: Adjusted the Search Live View to render Search Terms horizontally, making longer search terms more readable.
• Triggers: Increased the Description character limit from 1024 characters to 2048 characters.

Fixed

• Merchandising: Fixed a bug in Filters Text where negated filters were rendered as "has" instead of "has not".

• Added a section detailing our suggestions for Content recommendations to the Recommendation Usage page.
• Added a Troubleshooting guide that shows how to collect User IDs and request data, as well as how to troubleshoot the most common issues via the My Relewise interface. Available here.
• Added documentation for Popularity and Relevance, how they are affected by behavioral tracking and what they affect in turn. Available here.
• Added documentation for relevance decay, which defines the length of time during which tracked behavior affects the popularity and relevance of entities. Available here.
