API

Added

  • Search: Added Variant-to-Variant relation sorting. Search results can now prioritize Variants related to Variants the User has previously shown interest in. For example, Relewise can return shoes in the color that best matches a shirt added to the cart instead of simply returning the most popular shoe color. Enable this by setting ProductSearchSettings.VariantRequestSettings.Sorting to ByRelevance. Read more here.
  • Recommendations: Added Variant-to-Variant relations to Personal and Popular Product Recommendations. Recommended Variants can now be prioritized based on their relations to Variants the User has previously shown interest in. Enable this by setting ProductRecommendationRequestSettings.VariantRequestSettings.Sorting to ByRelevance. Support for additional Recommendation types will be added later. Read more here.
  • Recommendations: Added multi-Variant results to Personal and Popular Product Recommendations, allowing multiple Variants per Product. Support for additional Recommendation types will be added later. Read more here.

Changed

  • The API now returns a ValidationException when user engagement events reference nonexistent Product IDs. Previously, engagements with invalid Product IDs were silently ignored.

My Relewise

Added

  • Added deep links to Products, Variants, Users, Content, and various Search Rules. Entity pages can be linked directly using a Product ID, Variant ID, or User ID.
  • Merchandising: Added the EmailCondition, IdentifierCondition, and AuthenticatedId User Conditions for Merchandising and Triggers. Available here.
  • The My Profile page now has an updated layout with clearer sections for profile details, authentication, regional settings, and privacy settings.

Changed

  • Merchandising: Improved the UI for entering multiple Product IDs, such as in ProductIdFilter. Users can now paste comma- or newline-separated lists and have the IDs tokenized automatically for faster bulk entry.

Fixed

  • Filters: Fixed a bug that prevented certain filter configurations from toggling negated conditions.

Integration

Added

  • Shopify App: Added Product import settings for synchronizing Shopify markets and publications. Available here.
  • Shopify App: Exposed Search Configurations through ShopifyRelewise, allowing merchants with custom storefronts to use configurations without the App UI Blocks. Available here.

Changed

Fixed

  • Shopify App: Removed a hidden UTF-8 BOM from the initialization file and converted affected files to BOM-free UTF-8. The BOM could produce unexpected output and prevent Relewise storefront components from initializing correctly. No action is required.

Documentation

Added

  • Added guidance about debounce time to the Search Best Practices page. Available here.

Changed

  • Expanded the Search Analytics documentation with details about click-rate and average-click-position calculations. Available here.

Fixed

  • Corrected the Promoted Variants documentation to state that numeric values are sorted in ascending order, not descending order. Read about it here.
